EA-Amp Monitored Audio Receiver

The EARX receiver module pairs with the transmitter module (EATX) to receive and galvanically isolate the two identical, 5-pin, audio channels and relay it to the local EA series amplifier.

The Audio Transmitter (EATX) allows a monitored audio (microphone or line-level) and associated PTT signal to be transmitted to a galvanically isolated, local or remote, matching Audio Receiver (EARX) up to 2 km away.

In the default, AS4428.16 compliant, dual-cable (i.e. redundant) mode, if a fault develops in the primary channel, the receiver will automatically switch to the secondary channel without impacting on the monitoring process.

As the connection of both the audio and PTT functions are monitored, the defect will be displayed on the LCD displays of both the EA amplifier and the panel. LEDs on the EATX and EARX also indicate the fault (Audio, PTT, O/C or S/C) and the current status of the PTT (Idle, Active).
